The Job

The Community Events Lead/Manager will be responsible for planning and managing community engagement strategies at key trade shows and leading the charge on local and regional community events and customer dinners. This role is pivotal for making LucidLink a trusted and valued partner within its community. By creating meaningful experiences, connecting with our audience, building strong partnerships, and ensuring a consistent, active presence in physical and digital spaces, the person in this role will have a tremendous opportunity to guide that perception. The ideal candidate is a dynamic communicator and strategic thinker, passionate about relationship-building, with a deep understanding of community-driven event management and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Strategy & Management: Develop and implement community-focused event plans for major trade shows, regional community events, and customer dinners. Create experiences that resonate with attendees, fostering connection and engagement.

  • Local Partnerships & Sponsorships: Identify and maintain partnerships and sponsorships that enhance the impact of local events and provide mutual value to LucidLink and the community.

  • Networking & Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with local industry players, community leaders, and key stakeholders to further strengthen our community and brand.

  • Regional Event Execution: In collaboration with the Events Operation Lead, plan and manage smaller-scale regional events and customer dinners, delivering high-impact, intimate experiences that deepen community engagement.

  • Marketing Ownership: Own the messaging, activations, speaker selection, influencer involvement, and content creation for both large and small events, ensuring all marketing elements align with the overall communications strategy.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with content, design, and sales teams to ensure cohesive and timely execution of event marketing efforts. Ensure cross-functional alignment to meet community and business objectives.

  • Collaboration with Event Operations: Partner closely with the Event Operations Lead to stay informed of logistical planning, providing insights on how to integrate community and marketing elements seamlessly.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in event planning, community management, or a related field, with demonstrated success in managing both large and small-scale events and building strategic partnerships.

  • Skills: Strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the tech or SaaS industry and a proven track record of creating impactful community-driven events and partnerships are a plus.
