Job description

Work Arrangement: Fully remote, available to candidates worldwide

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: Up to $1,500 per month, dependent on experience and skills

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time

Role Overview

As a Legal Assistant, you’ll be instrumental in supporting various business functions, including executive support, legal assistance, project management, and sales operations. This role requires a proactive individual with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.

Your Impact: Your efforts will contribute to the smooth operation of executive functions, accurate legal documentation, efficient project management, and robust sales support. You will play a crucial role in ensuring operational success and maintaining high standards of efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Executive Support

  • Manage the executive’s calendar, including scheduling meetings and travel arrangements.
  • Handle email correspondence and prioritize tasks.
  • Provide ad-hoc administrative support and build up SOPs/internal Wiki/Repository.

2. Legal Assistance

  • Conduct legal research, draft and proofread documents (e.g., NDAs, contracts), and coordinate with internal/external legal counsel.
  • Maintain and organize legal files, assist with case management, and monitor deadlines for filings.

3. Project Management

  • Track project timelines, organize tasks, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

4. Sales Support

  • Follow up with leads, assist with client communications, and manage back-end sales tasks.

5. Operational Support

  • Assist with event and meeting coordination, perform market research, and manage administrative tasks.

Requirements

Must-Have:

  • Paralegal or legal support experience with a background in project management or business operations.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar), Trello/Asana, DocuSign, and Slack.
  • Familiarity with legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis); client-facing experience.
  • Tech-savvy, preferably with experience in tech or startup environments, and familiar with AI-driven tools.
  • Accent-neutral with strong communication skills.

  • Experience working with remote teams.
