Python/Java/AWS Developer

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Python/Java/AWS Developer for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Regulatory clients in Rockville, MD .

This Position is 100% Remote.

Education/Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline with at least eight (8+) years of related experience, or equivalent training and/or work experience.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in Object Oriented and database technologies / concepts which resulted in deployment of enterprise quality solutions.
• Past experience with developing enterprise quality solutions in an iterative or Agile environment.
• Knowledge of industry leading software engineering approaches including Test Automation, Build Automation and Configuration Management frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.
• Expertise using Python and Java
• Expertise with AWS asynchronous workflow services including: Step Functions, Lambda, SNS & SQS
• Database experience such as DocumentDB, MongoDB, Elastic Search, and SOLR as well as SQL database
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Domain knowledge of SEC EDGAR and iXBRL would be highly preferred.
