We are currently seeking a Lead Cyber Security Engineer who will be responsible for assisting product teams to improve security risk management, thread modelling and SBOM management.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Acts as a domain specialist during threat modelling and security design discussions
  • Assist with developing and improving security risk management and assessment processes
  • Educate the product teams on security risk management, in-line with current processes
  • Review and provide feedback on product security design and risk assessments
  • Ensures software bills of materials are crafted, maintained, and monitored for vulnerabilities.
  • Document and communicate with product teams regarding security risks and deficiencies
  • Tracks the plans, timelines, and implementations of required security controls across all product lines.
  • Utilize expertise to identify evolving security threats and provide in-depth understanding of "if, how, and when" they should be addressed
  • Manage, monitor and track third party compliance

The required qualifications for the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in security role focused on measuring and monitoring risk and maturity performance
  • Understanding of the Cybersecurity Frameworks and how to apply it

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Software development experience in the life sciences or medical device domains
  • Familiarity with C#, C++, or Java software development
  • Working knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR) 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485:2003, and other worldwide medical device regulations
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
  • Hands on experience with Secure Development Lifecycle and testing, threat modelling, secure communication, cryptographic algorithms, certificates, PKI, key management
  • Experience in conducting internal audit and facing external auditor
  • Experience in (RCSA) risk control self assessment
