ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Senior Analyst Sterling Mapping & EDI Integration is responsible for supporting and leading EDI initiatives, as part of the EDI team. Senior Analyst will support the execution of the long term initiatives for the EDI team. The primary focus will be partnering with business, Integrator and IT teams to design, support and implement EDI projects within the budgetary guidelines mutually agreed upon with IS Management and the relevant business areas, and that the results are of a consistently high quality that meet the business needs. The Analyst needs to be prepared to work with EDI translator (IBM Sterling which is integrated with SAP S/4 Fashion solution. The Senior Analyst will work through the EDI Project Lifecycle. The projects may include single or multi-year strategic initiatives, ongoing processes such as innovation, commercialization of Big Stories, or other needs created by the brands, where EDI has a relevant role.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
For the ERP Program Long Term Support and upcoming projects, executes development, implementation, and continuous improvement programs and processes to – from an EDI perspective:
Leverage business partner routing guides to EDI solutions. Leverage Sterling tools to map EDI to Kontoor and Partner applications
Troubleshoot technical issues in Sterling FTP solutions and EDI
Scheduled reviews of EDI deliverables and status.
Participate in design sessions, test planning & execution, training, cutover planning, cutover execution and hyper care support activities
Coordinate activities with 3rd Parties for EDI, B2B, Legacy changes.
Help define and build solid EDI business processes that ensure applications meet all project requirements and stay within budget
Meet objectives of projects including technical scope, stretch goals, deliverables, strategy, milestones, required tasks, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, and contingency plans
Quality assurance plans/testing and implementation of best practices
Standards and procedures for project life cycle, project reporting, and documentation
On-call Support of EDI solutions
Support issue and weekly progress reporting.
Identify and control areas of risk to drive resolution of issues.
Partner with OCM in the formulation of plans and activities to support project implementation and maintain high levels of communication (up, down, and across) and across brands.
Support EDI Manager to identify and plan IT driven growth opportunities, and develop plans for executing supporting initiatives, which may include sustaining, stretch, and breakthrough innovation.
Support of non-SAP Applications including Method fuel B2B, non-Sterling related EDI, etc. Ensure consistent definition and compliance of security
Partner with IT and SI Manager and Business Leads to ensure design meets requirements and gaps and/or issues are identified / resolved
Manage own work and support other team members to achieve budget and schedule
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and /or abilities required for the individual to be successful in this position.
Experience in SAP/EDI Projects and familiarity with EDI mappings such as 850, 855, 856, 810, etc especially in the Apparel and Footwear industry
Execute the development, testing, and cutover execution.
Business Partner EDI Configuration in Sterling and integration to SAP:
Customer EDI for Orders 850, Acknowledgement 855, ASN 856, Invoices 810 and other wholesale / retail transactions
Customer Service, Customer Master, Pricing, Order Management, Delivery Processing, Logistics/Distribution, Billing, Sales, Sales Reporting, Returns, STO, Inventory, Customer EDI and Reporting
Ideally S4 Fashion / FMS / AFS Related: Execution of test scripts (preferred)
Experience in Bulk Contracts, Sales Order Processing, Pricing, Logistics Execution, Billing, Remittance, Acknowledgement and ASNoIntegration TestingoCutover execution
Min 7+ years of experience in EDI integration with SAP and / or SAP Apparel and Footwear or Consumer Products industry experience with hands-on functional and configuration experience including functional specification of WRICEF including integration points
