Job description

Our client is a growing direct-to-consumer marketing agency specializing in fashion, beauty, wellness, and CPG brands. They are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Copywriter to join their dynamic team.

Location:

Fully Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 5 PM EST

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop, write, and edit a wide range of brand-first, conversion-driven materials, including emails, landing pages, social media content, advertorials, and more.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Copy & Content Strategy and Project Management team to ensure all writing projects are completed on time and align with brand specifications and campaign goals.

  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and track the performance of written content, analyzing responsiveness and effectiveness in driving conversions and engagement.

  • Message Optimization: Adjust direct-response messaging elements based on campaign performance, testing new copy variations and iterating based on results to increase lead volume and engagement.

  • Short & Long-Form Copywriting: Write both short and long-form copy as required, ensuring it stays within brand guidelines and effectively communicates the brand’s message.

  • Trend Awareness: Stay up to date with current marketing and social media trends to produce relevant and engaging content that resonates with target audiences.

  • High-Impact Copy: Creation of compelling and persuasive copy that drives conversions and aligns with the brand’s messaging and goals.

  • Optimized Campaigns: Continuous improvement of campaign performance through the testing and optimization of messaging across various platforms.

  • Collaborative Execution: Seamless collaboration with internal teams to ensure cohesive and effective content across different formats and marketing channels.

  • Trend-Adaptive Content: Delivery of relevant and timely content that aligns with industry trends and resonates with the target audience.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of copywriting experience, ideally within marketing or an agency setting, with a strong background in direct-response marketing.

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the fashion, membership, or e-commerce industry is highly desirable, along with the ability to work across diverse brands and categories, including beauty, wellness, and CPG.

  • Content Versatility: Ability to write effectively across multiple formats, including emails, landing pages, social media posts, and ads.

  • Marketing Savvy: Working knowledge of digital and social media, with the ability to create copy that engages audiences and drives measurable results.

  • Trend Awareness: A strong pulse on current and emerging trends in marketing and social media.

  • Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Direct-Response Expertise: Proven experience in writing direct-response copy that generates conversions and leads.
