Data Analyst / Data visualization - R & InDesign- UN Agency

NTT DATA is looking for a Data Analyst / Data visualization - R & InDesign to work remotely from Europe for a UN Agency. You will be responsible for maintaining, adapting, and continuously developing various data analysis and data visualization scripts and templates, with the goal of automating processes wherever possible. Furthermore, they will collaborate with country focal points to design and develop new data-centric products, including maps.

You will be responsible for:

• Design and pilot new data centric information products including but not limited to 3Ws, infographics, monitoring reports etc.
• Following endorsement from countries, scale and automate production of new information products.
• Ensure the timely production of standard products.
• Establish processes to ensure quality and accuracy of products.
• Contribute to the production of standard products.
• Maintenance and continuous development of data analysis scripts to facilitate the production of descriptive reports and other data-centric static and interactive information products.
• Maintain the existing script repository and enhance the level of automation of various products.
• Ensure thorough documentation of workflows and scripts.
• Establish metrics for the development of descriptive reports and other standard products to ensure reports are produced on schedule.
• Develop data quality framework and analysis templates.
• Create scripts for static and interactive products identifying data quality issues with criticality to allow prioritization with clear description and feedback to the end users.
• Establish a framework for identifying key data quality issues.
  
  

Your profile:

• At least 8 years professional experience as a Data Analyst/Visualization Specialist.
• Advanced R knowledge with demonstrated professional experience in using R for data visualization.
• Expertise with Adobe InDesign.
• Proven experience in GIS, preferably with ArcGIS Pro.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a proven ability to independently quality check and ensure the accuracy of their own work.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to be part of and coordinate with a diverse team.
• Results-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently.
• Ability to adapt and manage deliverables and resources in a climate of change.
• A first-level university degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

• Excellent oral and written communication in English.

Desirable

• Background or experience in public health organizations.
• Working knowledge in PowerBI / Python / LaTex.
