About the role

We are seeking a Mid-Market Commercial Prospecting Account Executive who is responsible for selling within Corporate Impact EVERFI's Workplace Culture Network (WCN) vertical. EVERFI by Blackbaud provides online prevention and compliance training to thousands of organizations. Our industry leading instructional design and subject matter expertise helps organizations train their workforce on important skills relating to harassment, diversity and inclusion, culture, ethics, code of conduct, and data security. The AE is responsible for direct client contact with new prospective clients and achieving assigned revenue quota attainment by educating institutional leaders about workplace compliance solutions and product offerings, and aligning the solution to their critical needs and challenges.

What you'll do

  • Develop sales plans to effectively and efficiently cover the accounts within assigned territory

  • Master the WCN solutions and competitive differentiation in specific business line

  • Independently manage entire pipeline and ensure all revenue-process activities are performed to meet pipeline objectives

  • Engage prospects in consultative, problem first discussions and align their needs with WCN solutions 

  • Mentor, guide and assist in supporting Account Executives 

  • Accurately forecast pipeline for in month and in quarter quota attainment

  • Independently request support from Blackbaud's Corporate Impact and WCN leadership team and subject matter experts as needed to support sales and partnership opportunities

  • Partner with Sales Development Representatives to prospect and identify strong opportunities and conduct proactive outreach

  • Continuously prospect and ensure that new prospects are being added to the pipeline

  • Identify new sales opportunities through networking to help attain goals/quota

  • Provide professional and helpful transitions to Account Management team to ensure successful partnerships

  • Manage prospects needs analysis and identify accurate proposal options including pricing 

  • Maintain knowledge on new solutions and updated value propositions

  • Continually keep opportunities and account records up to date in our Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis

  • Create compelling outreach messaging to engage prospects

  • Leverage all enablement tools to work efficiently and effectively

  • Work collaboratively with all functional departments to deliver an exceptional customer experience

What you'll bring

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in sales roles, including 2 years of selling experience in Sales, Customer Success or a client facing role; 4 years preferred 

  • Experience navigating $30-50K+ ACV (Average Contract Value) deals 

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals

  • Consultative selling skills 

  • Ability to lead complex sales process at the C-level

  • Strong written and oral presentations skills 

  • Ability to conduct proactive outreach to assigned territory

  • Exceptionally detail-oriented 

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills 

  • Ability to travel 25%

The starting base salary and annual proposed commission is $78,700.00 to $107,200.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, sales quota, Company finances, and other operational considerations.
