Summary

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with Python knowledge. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing scalable, robust and high-quality solutions. As an engineer you are a professional with several years of hands-on experience, possessing advanced technical skills and in-depth knowledge. You excel in problem-solving, effective communication, guiding and mentoring other engineers, making critical technical decisions, and contributing to the strategic direction of projects.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Professional Experience

• 5+ years of experience building Software Applications.
• 3+ years of experience working with Python.

Required Skills

• Proficient with Python frameworks including Flask, FastAPI, and Django, enabling the development of high-quality web applications and services.
• Skilled in Docker for creating, managing, and deploying containerized applications, facilitating consistent development environments.
• Experience with Postgres and other relational databases, ensuring robust data management and querying capabilities.
• Knowledgeable in developing and consuming REST APIs, with the ability to integrate disparate systems seamlessly.
• Practical experience in setting up and managing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, streamlining development workflows and reducing deployment risks.
• Proficient with Python frameworks including Flask, FastAPI, and Django, enabling the development of high-quality web applications and services.

Nice to have skills:

• Familiar with JavaScript and TypeScript, adding value through versatile development skills.
• Exposure to frontend development, contributing to well-rounded software development capabilities.
• Understanding of GraphQL, enhancing API query capabilities and optimizing data retrieval.
• Experienced with AWS, or other cloud services like GCP and Azure. Familiar with serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda for scalable and cost-effective computing.
