Position Summary

As a Project Manager at STERIS, you will bring an entrepreneurial, innovative leaderership and user-centric mindset with proven experience in driving business software solution projects. You will own the project strategy and delivery plan, prioritize project activities, and ensure alignment with business goals. Most importantly, you will spend each day collaborating with an agile and dedicated team to deliver strategic business transformation through innovative software solutions.

 

This is a Remote role, however some travel may be required per business/team needs.

What you'll do as a Project Manager:
  • Lead and implement multiple projects, ensuring alignment with business strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver complex projects.
  • Manage project schedules, resources, risks, and budgets.
  • Facilitate feedback initiatives and define business needs for solution development.
  • Apply agile methodologies to drive project completion and enforce standards.
  • Ensure project documentation is complete and up-to-date.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Present project progress and solutions to senior management.
  • Up to 30% travel required.
The Experience, Skills, and Abilities needed:

To be considered and to be successful in this role you will need the following years of experience and education:

  • A Bachelors Degree or higher with a minimum 5 years experience managing complex projects and initiatives. 

 

In addition, you will have the following 5+ years experience, expertise, skills, and abilities:

  • Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in leading and driving the planning and implementation of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with business strategies and goals.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with experience in Design Control and Stage Gate methods.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration: Strong ability to assemble and lead Cross Functional Teams (CFT), collaborate with various department heads, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Agile Methodologies: Proficiency in applying agile methodologies to drive project completion, enforce standards, and manage project changes and interventions.
  • Risk and Resource Management: Skilled in identifying project risks, developing mitigation plans, managing resource allocations, and ensuring project deliverables are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Operational Management: Experience in managing day-to-day operational aspects of projects, including scope, schedules, and deliverables, to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Project Management Profession (PMP) or New Product Development Professional (NPDP) certification desired, but not required.

 Pay range for this opportunity is $78,500.00 - $109,987.50. This position is eligible for bonus participation.

 

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.  Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.

 

Employees (and their families) may enroll in our company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, health savings account, voluntary benefits, supplemental life/AD&D plans and the company’s 401k plan. Employees are covered by an employee assistance program (also available to household members) and long-term disability. Full-Time Employees are also eligible for short-term disability.  Full-time Employees will also receive Paid Time Off (PTO) based on years of service and paid Holidays. Part-time employees working 20 or more hours receive a pro-ration of the full-time PTO allocation and paid Holidays based on their standard hourly work week. Full-Time employees are eligible for four weeks of paid parental leave. Part-time employees also receive paid parental leave, pro-rated based on their standard hourly work week.
