Location: N/E Denver, onsite 4 days a week (Friday remote)

An experienced accountant performing assigned month-end accounting functions at an advanced level, quarterly-reviews, year-end audit requests, and special projects. Specifically, this role will focus on all functions related to salaries, wages, and benefits as well as operations. The Senior Corporate Accountant will work heavily with all departments on expense activities throughout the Company.
 
Essential Functions

• Prepare journal entries for month-end closing.
• Prepare and analyze monthly general ledger account reconciliations.
• Complete monthly and quarterly balance sheet and income statement analytics.
• Document accounting processes in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.

• Assist in quarterly reviews and year-end audit requests.
• Special projects/continual process improvement
• Completion of technical accounting memos for routine or non-routine transactions as needed

• 2-4 years of applicable previous accounting experience
• BS in Accounting, Finance, Business, or general undergrad  with minor in accounting
• Month-end close experience
• Proven track record working for (or auditing) for a large public or private company
• MS in Accounting or MBA preferred
• Certified Public Accountant, preferred
• “Big 4” or large firm experience preferred

• Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills
• Ability to work well with other team members and other departments
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines
• Ability to work with strict confidentiality
