Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior QA Engineer with expertise in SaaS application testing, both automated and manual, to join our dynamic Product Team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in UI/UX testing for web applications, proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, and a solid understanding of end-to-end automation testing. As part of the QA team, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design and implement test strategies that ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of our Retail Media Advertising platform.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers, to build and execute comprehensive test plans that align with project requirements and deadlines.
• Design, implement, and execute test cases for product features, focusing on both manual and automated testing to ensure functionality, scalability, and security.
• Lead UI/UX testing efforts for the web application to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience across different devices and browsers.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts for new features using Gauge and Taiko in JavaScript/Node.js, ensuring comprehensive test coverage for the web applications.
• Conduct end-to-end testing, covering UI components, backend APIs, and database integrations to ensure the stability and performance of the SaaS platform.
• Perform manual testing for hardware devices, media players, and other platform components that require hands-on validation before automation.
• Execute REST API testing using tools like Postman, ensuring proper communication between system components.
• Provide regular feedback on product quality, identifying areas for improvement, and suggesting enhancements to increase automation and testing efficiency.
• Maintain and expand the suite of regression tests, ensuring coverage of all existing functionalities to prevent issues during new feature releases.
• Collaborate with the development team to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring tests are automated as part of the build and deployment processes.
• Use tools such as Xray integrated with Jira for test documentation, tracking progress, and reporting test results.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on SaaS applications, end-to-end testing, and test automation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (latest version) for writing and maintaining automation test cases, with hands-on experience in coding from scratch.
• Deep experience with automation testing tools like Gauge and Taiko (JavaScript libraries), used for creating and managing automation test cases for UI and API layers.
• Proven experience in UI/UX testing for web applications, ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility and an optimal user experience.
• Strong understanding of REST API testing using tools such as Postman, ensuring proper data exchange between different system components.
• DevOps mindset, with a focus on Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) practices, ensuring seamless integration of automated tests in CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with test documentation tools, specifically Xray for Jira, to track, document, and report on test cases and results.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end automation testing (UI through backend API testing) on SaaS applications, focusing on maintaining 50% automation coverage and 50% manual testing for hardware devices and new features.
• Experience in maintaining regression tests and achieving high automation test coverage across multiple product releases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying potential issues before they impact production.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in cloud platforms like AWS, comfortable working in a distributed, cloud-based environment leveraging AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, and more.
