Buy Box Experts is looking for a Sr. Accountant that will execute tasks and provide team support in an ambiguous and dynamic business environment to meet company, department and team metrics. The ideal candidate is someone with experience in the accounting field, has strong analytical skills and able to work and perform in a fun, agile and fast paced business environment.
How you will achieve success: Execute month-end tasks, billing, account reconciliations; own finance metrics and report out to the business; assist in A/R and A/P tasks. Receive and process requests from agency members for accounting needs and act as a liaison with external accounting team as well as parent accounting team.Identify problems and recommend solutions to resolve issues including summarizing and communicating recommendations to leadership; document policies and processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Drives issue resolution cross-functionally through effective communication to partners and leadership.Assist the Director of Financial Operations with day-to-day tasks and one-off projects. What experiences will help you in this role: Required: Bachelor's degree in public accounting (or international equivalent) with 3+ years' experience in the accounting field; demonstrated significant initiative and tenacity in prior jobs. Knowledge of GAAP, advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with analytical tools and ability to drive processes into new technologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and communication skills (must be fluent in English).Self-starter with ability to work independently and also able to work and perform in a fun, agile and fast paced business environment.
Preferred: Industry certifications and/or graduate degree in business-related field; experience using Quickbooks, Invoiced.com and Bill.com. This is a remote position and requires candidates to have an available work-from-home setup.
Desktop/Laptop system requirements:4th generation or higher, at least Intel i3 or equivalent processor; at least 4GB RAM; Windows 10 and above or MAC OSX operating system
A strong and stable internet connection (A DSL, cable, or fiber wired internet service with at least 50 Mbps plan or higher for primary connection)
PC Headset (With noise-canceling feature is preferred but not required)
A high-definition (HD) external or integrated webcam with at least 720p resolution
