The Importance of the Role

Join our high performing, fast-paced FP&A team and contribute to the success of our Technical Operations, Facilities & IT functions. The Manager, Technical Operations Finance supports all aspects of finance business partnering, providing critical finance input into strategic and operational business decisions and processes, focusing on business case, decision and project support and challenging or advocating as appropriate. You will partner with Functional and Program leads to drive achievement of current year and multi-year goals and provide finance support for external collaborations and alliances. This includes the development and maintenance of models and processes to generate annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and long-range planning.

The Opportunity to Make a Difference

  • Along with the Associate Director, FP&A, support the Technical Ops, Quality, Facilities and IT functions as a critical finance business partner and provide financial planning and performance analysis for the Group.  This includes budgeting, forecasting, long range planning, and financial/business analysis (“sole source of the truth”)
  • Serve as Lead Administrator for FP&A’s new Oracle EPM software platform, responsible for forecasting and actual cycle preparation and maintenance, as well as coordination with the accounting function on hierarchy and ledger structure updates.
  • Support the Capital Steering Committee with reporting and analysis, including analysis and tracking of major facilities expansion programs.  Serve as primary FP&A representation to the committee meetings.
  • Serve as primary Finance Business Partner to the Facilities and IT groups.  Drive enhanced analytics and reporting for the IT function; provide better visibility and prioritization of the organization’s IT project demand, allowing us to control costs and execute on strategic initiatives as we navigate in a rapidly growing environment.
  • Proactively identify, design, and implement enhancements to existing processes
  • Develop reports to provide functional leadership with timely, accurate performance data, including Budget vs. Actual, Forecast vs. Budget, etc..  Investigate and explain material differences to finance management and functional leaders
  • Collaborate with the Associate Director and other FP&A team members to provide effective Executive Presentations (quarterly Executive reviews, quarterly BOD packages, etc.)
  • Support CMC function budgeting and reporting, enabling critical decision making on pipeline of over 30 programs
  • Performs other related duties, including ad hoc initiatives as assigned.

More about You

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of related work experience in accounting, finance and/or consulting.
  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical / biotech industry preferred; prior experience supporting Gene Therapy manufacturing would be nice to have.
  • Experience using financial systems, prior experience with Oracle suite preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications; advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, written, verbal and visual communication skills.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage projects and timelines, organize/track complex information, prioritize accordingly, and the ability to quickly adjust to shifting priorities and demanding timelines when necessary.
  • Solid sense of accountability and sound judgement; highest ethical standards and focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Experience working with stakeholders/partners at all levels, globally, across the organization.

This position is hybrid, you will be expected to work on site at one of Sarepta’s facilities in the United States and/or attend Company-sponsored in-person events from time to time.

The targeted salary range for this position is $112,000 - $140,000 per year. Sarepta is making a good faith effort to be transparent and accurate around our hiring ranges. The salary offer is commensurate with Sarepta’s compensation philosophy and considers factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, external market conditions, criticality of role, and internal equity.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
