ICF is seeking a Program Manager for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) to support and drive the development, design, and implementation of program initiatives that foster a workplace culture of inclusivity and belonging. The DEIB Program Manager will lead several cross functional projects with a primary focus on overseeing the coordination, development, and execution of the company’s Employee Community Network (ECN) program. In this role, you will report to the Director, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging and is responsible for supporting ECN leaders, building engagement strategies, and aligning ECN activities with the company’s DEIB goals. The DEIB Program Manager will act as a liaison between ECN leaders, DEIB leadership, HR, and key stakeholders to ensure that ECNs are effectively driving business impact, supporting employee development, and fostering an inclusive company culture. 

While we’re open to considering candidates who need to be remote, our preference is for this person to live in Maryland, D.C., or Virginia. For candidates who reside outside of the DMV area, the expectation is that you would come into the Reston, VA Headquarters for key initiatives, meetings, and/or presentations.  

As a Program Manager, DEIB you will: 

  • Lead, coordinate, implement, and project manage key diversity, equity and inclusion programs, initiatives and frameworks to ensure the achievement ofshort and long-term objectives. 

  • Advocate for the DEIB Team, enterprise DEIB strategy, and program initiatives; leveraging your strong oral and written communication skills to promote, educate, and build awareness of the enterprise DEIB strategy, program, and key initiatives.  

  • Provide subject matter expertise and provide guidance as needed on DEIB topics.  

  • In partnership with the Director, DEIB, serve as a consultant and strategic thought partner keeping HR partners and stakeholders informed and engaged in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Program Strategy & Leadership: 

  • Oversee the implementation of the overall strategy for the company’s ECN program in alignment with DEIB and business objectives. 

  • Act as the primary point of contact for ECN leaders, providing guidance, resources, and support to ensure the success of their initiatives. 

  • Ensure the ECNs' goals and programs contribute to company-wide DEIB goals, including talent acquisition, retention, and employee engagement. 

Operational Support: 

  • Manage and facilitate regular meetings with ECN leaders, DEIB leadership, and other relevant stakeholders to review progress, share best practices, and align on upcoming initiatives. 

  • Create and maintain a calendar of key ECN events, meetings, and initiatives. 

  • Assist in the planning and execution of ECN-related events and programs, including member meetings, workshops, cultural celebrations, and community engagement efforts. 

Data & Reporting: 

  • Develop metrics to measure the success and impact of ECN initiatives, including membership growth, program participation, and alignment with DEIB goals. 

  • Provide regular reports and insights to DEIB leadership and executive sponsors on ECN performance and recommendations for improvement. 

  • Collaborate with HR and DEIB teams to ensure ECN data is integrated into broader DEIB reporting and analytics. 

Communications & Engagement: 

  • Develop internal communication strategies to promote ECN programming and increase awareness and engagement among employees. 

  • Partner with corporate communications and marketing teams to ensure ECN efforts are highlighted in company-wide messaging. 

  • Promote ECN programs and activities through internal platforms such as Viva Engage, newsletters, and the company intranet, etc.  

 

Qualifications - Required: 

  • 5+ years of experience in leading and managing large and complex cross functional programs.  

  • 3+ years of experience in workforce diversity, equity and inclusion and belonging.   

  • Experience leading and supporting Employee Community Networks (ECNs) program, also known as Affinity Resource Groups or Employee Community Networks (ECNs).  

  • Demonstrated ability working in fast-paced environments and adapting to shifting priorities. 

 

Qualifications - Preferred: 

  • Bachelor's Degree.   

  • 8+ years of experience in leading and managing large and complex cross functional programs. 

  • Strong knowledge of DEIB principles, particularly in the context of Employee Community Networks and organizational change. 

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization. 

  • Proven project management skills, including experience leading large, cross-functional initiatives. 

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs).

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$115,889.00 - $197,011.00
