Job Description Summary:

Implements, coordinates, manages, and evaluates multiple simultaneous projects within Telehealth for the Logan Health System, as defined by executive leadership and the Virtual Health strategic plan. This position requires innovative thinking, problem solving, and a fast paced approach where no two projects are the same. The role includes a mix of the clinical, technical, and operational perspectives. Must be able to approach work with a flexible mindset in an environment that is constantly evolving.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in a health care or business-related field required. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
  • Three (3) years relevant experience in project management, telemedicine, or the equivalent preferred.
  • Experience working within healthcare environments preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required, and experience with project management tools preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences. 
  • Excellent organizational skills, detailed oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism and diplomacy.

Job Specific Duties:

  • Works closely with the leadership team and other key stakeholders to develop and improve ongoing project related skills and deliver comprehensive, quality products. 
  • Assists in the definition of project scope, project schedule, project expense, and communicates changes as important to the project’s overall status.
  • Coordinates necessary internal and external resources to execute implementation through management and facilitation of meetings, communication, summaries of meetings, project plan milestones and tasks, and assignment of duties.  
  • Executes implementation of projects on time as defined by the project’s charter and plan. Utilizes and develops necessary workflows and project documentation tools. 
  • Maintains project documentation and coordinates appropriate reporting related to the project budget and project changes as needed.
  • Supports sustainability of achieved project benefits through documentation of a formal handoff process in coordination with the leadership team.
  • Exhibits high level customer service skills in all responses. Provides professional and consistent follow-through and timely escalation on issues.
  • Serves both internal and external customer needs for all Virtual Health services including onsite support for video-conferencing services as needed.
  • Participates in 24/7 virtual health group call schedule to support virtual health program functionality.
  • Supports virtual health related grant work and tech needs.

Schedule:

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
