Your missions

About the Role
Responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the talent planning strategies and programs. As a talent management practitioner, you are knowledgeable about the industry’s best practices and frequently benchmark with reputable companies and agencies. You lead the practice to identify, build and prepare our current and future leaders of Gap Inc. This includes high potential identification, succession planning, leader pipeline development and executive accelerator programs. This role leverages data, assessments, analytics and talent-related technology and systems to curate a best-in-class talent and succession practice for the company.  You will partner with HR business partners and Talent partners to deploy the CoE’s processes, programs, and tools as they execute the plans with their executives. This role does not have any direct reports, it is an individual contributor role. Travel once a quarter within the US required. Telecommuting permissible from anywhere in the US.

Salary Range: $244,858- $249,858
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
What You'll Do
  • Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to gather, analyze, and interpret performance data and metrics and capability of using statistical methods and tools to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement; 
  • Succession Planning: Experience in designing and implementing succession planning programs, including talent identification, assessment, and development strategies, and identifying high-potential employees, conducting talent reviews, and creating development plans for potential successors; 
  • Talent Assessment and Evaluation: Knowledge of various assessment methods and tools used for talent evaluation, such as 360-degree feedback, psychometric assessments, and performance reviews, and ability to assess employees' potential, performance, and readiness for future roles; and 
  • Talent Development: Experience in identifying future-ready skills and capabilities and assessing the gaps to deliver on effective leadership development and/or accelerator programs for top talent.  
Who You Are

Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field and five (5) years of post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related role.
