The Curriculum Developer is responsible for identifying employee training and development needs and creating educational resources and reports to address those gaps. This role requires a background in instructional design and experience in developing engaging training materials for various formats and audiences. Key responsibilities include selecting appropriate instructional methods, defining time frames, and preparing training materials in both physical and digital formats. The Curriculum Developer will structure educational programs for classroom-style, virtual, and web-based courses to ensure employees receive comprehensive and effective training.

Pay: $90k / Year

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Conduct company-wide skills gap analyses to identify training needs.
  2. Consult with cross-functional subject matter experts to gather accurate information and insights needed to develop effective training content.
  3. Design detailed educational curricula, including schedules, topics, and clear learning objectives.
  4. Create engaging training course content, including guides, slide decks, videos, quizzes, e-learning, animations, and interactive activities.
  5. Facilitate and produce courses as needed.
  6. Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, to make necessary improvements.
  7. Organize physical and digital resources for instructors and trainees.
  8. Provide manuals and guidelines on how to use online training materials.
  9. Follow up with trainees and instructors to collect feedback and improve future programs.
  10. Keep track of training costs and manage budgets effectively.
  11. Research and recommend modern educational methods, such as gamification, to enhance training programs.
  12. Organize and manage a repository of training materials, ensuring they are up-to-date, accessible, and relevant.
  13. Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in training and instructional design.
  14. Manage and upload content to the LMS, tracking learner progress, and generating reports.
  15. Assist in coordinating training events, including scheduling, communication, and material distribution.
  16. Create reports on training activities, outcomes, and areas for improvement to provide insights to management and stakeholders.

    3. Promote a professional image by adhering to FPI Management's Dress Code Policy. 
    4. Conduct displayed must be of a professional manner when communicating with employees, residents, prospective residents, clients, vendors, and guests while representing FPI Management.
    5. Perform any and all functions as directed by the supervisor, including special project assistance

Responsible for meeting all training requirements for the position (Grace Hill, Safety Meetings, etc.).

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Work experience as a Curriculum Designer, Instructional Designer, or a similar role
  • Hands-on experience with Learning Management Software (LMS)
  • Familiarity with video editing software
  • Ability to write clear and concise instructional copy
  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate
  • Valid Driver's License, a good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance which meets State requirements, and an operable vehicle that meets FPI’s Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy.
  • Preferred experience in residential property management, retail, sales, or customer service
  • Preferred 1 year of Property Management Experience 
  • Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English
