Job Description

The Student Data Specialist assists in maintaining efficiencies, processes and data within the Student Operations department. The specialist is responsible for the entry of data and its integrity and executing all administrative procedures for the Student Operations team.

Responsibilities included the following: 

  • Responsible for data entry, data cleansing, data integrity and CRM management, including reconciliation of various roster files
  • Responsible for maintaining global and local student operations, admissions and retention reports
  • Troubleshooting any CRM-related queries received from the student operations team
  • Responsible for helping maintain any internal SOPs and training materials
  • Liaison with the Student Operations team to help report and resolve data issues, develop dashboards/reports and enhance any areas of opportunity for data management
  • Collaborate with stakeholders locally and globally to implement best practices and help build innovative processes and data management strategies.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Must possess a thorough understanding and/or experience within Student Admissions and/or Student Retention
  • A demonstrated critical thinker, able to work quickly and toward deadlines
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred
  • 1-2 years experience in administrative operations or similar experience required
  • 1-2 years experience working in higher education, or a similar environment preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and experience delivering high levels of customer service
  • Passion for excellence and ability to adapt

Technical/Further Skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced level of proficiency with CRM
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as outstanding listening and comprehension skills
  • Passion for excellence and ability to adapt
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and deal with ambiguity
  • Strong attention to detail, including skills in record keeping and records management
