Operations Specialist: Shipping Team

Ultimate Beauty, a leading reseller in the beauty industry, is seeking an Operations Specialist (Shipping) to join our dynamic and innovative team. As an Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our logistics and supply chain operations. We're a fully remote team, except for our warehouse in Barcelona. As an Operations Specialist (Shipping), you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the shipping and delivery processes. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including vendors, carriers, and internal teams, to ensure seamless operations and timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end shipping activities, including order processing, label creation, and tracking shipments.
• Collaborate with warehouses and carriers to optimize routes and reduce transportation costs.
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, including proper documentation and adherence to international shipping requirements.
• Handle shipping-related inquiries and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
• Monitor and analyze shipping data to identify areas for improvement, such as reducing transit times or enhancing delivery performance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and vendors to foster efficient operations and resolve any shipping-related concerns.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in logistics and supply chain operations, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.
• Strong knowledge of shipping processes and best practices.
• Proficient in using shipping software and systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment.
