Job Description

As a Video Editor, you’ll be at the forefront of crafting engaging visual stories for a diverse range of platforms and projects. This role offers a unique blend of creative freedom and technical expertise, allowing you to shape content that resonates with audiences across social media and beyond. Responsibilities

• Create compelling video content optimized for Instagram and Facebook, adhering to platform-specific requirements and best practices
  
• Apply your expertise in color correction using DaVinci Resolve and Adobe products to enhance visual appeal and maintain consistency across projects
  
• Manage and organize video projects, with a focus on documentary film production, ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery
  
• Curate and arrange footage to craft engaging narratives that captivate audiences
  
• Implement SEO strategies to boost video content visibility and reach on social media platforms
  
• Collaborate closely with the creative team to ensure brand messaging remains consistent and impactful across all video content
  
• Stay updated on evolving social media trends and platform requirements, adapting your approach to maintain cutting-edge content
  

Requirements

• Proven proficiency in DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Creative Suite, with a portfolio showcasing your video editing skills
  
• Strong background in color correction techniques, able to enhance footage to professional standards
  
• In-depth understanding of social media video specifications and best practices for platforms like Instagram and Facebook
  
• Working knowledge of SEO principles for optimizing video content and improving discoverability
  
• Exceptional project management skills, particularly in organizing and executing documentary film projects
  
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual storytelling and the ability to transform raw footage into compelling narratives
  
• Excellent communication skills for effective remote collaboration with the business owner and potential team members
  
• Ability to manage time efficiently, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
