This Business Intelligence Analyst (BIA) position will be responsible for working with Business Process Analyst, Implementation Analyst, and Operations teams to deliver on internal and external data insights to better track and identify trends. All reporting is intended to come from a single-source analytics toolwhereby the BIA will be responsible for modifying, managing, and creating reports and dashboards. The BIA will perform ad hoc analyses and reconciliations for internal and external clients. The BIA will be aliaison between the Business Units and the Knipper Data Services team. The BIA should have experience in finding patterns in data, common denominators, and making recommendations to internal and external
stakeholders to help achieve their goals and objectives.
Hybrid role based out of Louisville, Kentucky location.

Responsibilities:
Developing and managing business intelligence solutions for the organization
Preparing reports and providing insight to management and leadership to enhance the
decision-making process using fact-based data working to improve operational efficiency,
productivity, and profitability
Performing ad-hoc research and analysis as required by the business, includes generating
reports and visualizations as requested
Generating data extracts, creating reports and visualizations via dashboards
Consolidating and optimizing reports to reduce redundancy
Building tools to identify data discrepancies and outputs to make timely resolutions
Helping support data analytics platforms (DOMO)
Collaborating with teams to determine client needs and goals
Analyzing business requirements and processes and recommending them to the
management and executives for implementation
Identifying the development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving the
operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability
Translating documented requirements into design specifications and creating documentation
as outlined by Knipper standards, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree , computer science, statistics, economics, accounting, or related field
3-5+ years data analysis and visualization
Ideal candidate has experience working closely with internal and external
stakeholders to produce Key Performance Metrics
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong algorithmic and computation capabilities, analytic thinker.
Strong experience with Excel, CSV, Text file manipulation of data.
Proficient in MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power-Point).
Experience with SQL, ETL tools, Desktop database applications, Python a plus.
Ability to build strong, productive relationships with clients and internal teams.
Ability to collaborate with clients to achieve strategic business goals.
Ability to manage data analysis for several internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent organization skills, detail oriented.
Must be able to work independently, accepting accountability for achieving defined goals and
objectives.
Proven ability to multitask and manage projects to successful completion.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in an environment with deadlines.
Ability to self-manage and work in an ambiguous environment.
Ability to research information within various Internet sources and utilize sound judgment.
Health-care, pharmaceutical, or life science industry experience a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in relevant field
Data Science and Analytics experience or education
