This role is responsible for leading, developing, and training a team of contractors focused on driving Discover acceptance across the United States. This person will support the partnership strategy and mentor contractors to enable merchants that do not accept the company's network. This role is responsible for the Development and training for the field contractors to drive awareness and improve Discover acceptance. Monthly travel with up to 40-50% travel is required.

Responsible for leading, developing, and specializing in third-tier relationships and debit activities. Mentors team members to enable merchants that do not accept the company's network. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management. 

Responsibilities 

  • Lead a team of independent contractors across the US including training and developing.

  • Manages merchant communications including site visit blitzes.

  • Develops goals, supports team, and strategizes solutions to drive effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Accurate expense management and forecasting.

  • Support Sales team leveraging knowledge, insights and experience.

  • Develops, supports, and strategizes solutions to drive effectiveness and efficiency of programs. 

  • Develops, supports, and strategizes solutions to drive effectiveness and efficiency of programs. 

  • Manages merchant debit communications, including site visit blitzes.

Minimum Qualifications 

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you: 

  • H.S. Diploma or GED 

  • 4+ years of experience in financial services, payments, sales, communications, marketing, project management, or related field 

Preferred Qualifications 

If we had our say, we’d also look for: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, Marketing, Psychology, Finance, or related field 

  • 6+ years of experience in financial services, payments, sales, communications, marketing, project management, or related field

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $75,500.00 to $127,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
