At Ironclad, the Director of Website Strategy will play a key leadership role on our growth marketing team and build the next evolution of our website to support our next phase of growth. This role will be critical to accelerate our growth and support our business goals, while ensuring we create the best user experience for our buyers and customers. You’ll join at a critical time to ensure our website is set up to drive impact and scale. We’re looking for an experienced leader to get hands-on in leading complex website initiatives, drive cross-functional alignment and collaboration, continuous improvement, and set a new bar of innovation and execution.

What you'll be doing:
  • Website Strategy:****

    • Develop our website vision and strategy to align with company and marketing teams goals.

    • Define and drive the next evolution of our website to drive business growth, global expansion, and ensure scalability for future growth.

  • Cross-functional alignment and collaboration:

    • Partner with marketing leadership to ensure website initiatives support marketing campaigns, brand initiatives, and pipeline.

    • Effectively prioritize initiatives and build a process across copy, design and development workstreams.

    • Collaborate cross-functionally across GTM and EPD to drive alignment on the web strategy and customer journey.

    • Work closely with SEO, Paid Media & Content teams to improve performance and impact through marketing programs and optimizations

    • Project manage large cross-functional, complex initiatives and projects.

  • Performance optimization:

    • Track and analyze key performance metrics for the website, in support of overall marketing and company goals.

    • Share out key insights and learnings to the marketing team and leadership to help drive optimization and alignment.

    • Create testing best practices and drive continuous optimization of web performance

  • Digital content & user experience:

    • Drive user experience initiatives to ensure the website delivers an intuitive experience for our target audience and across the full buying journey.

  • Design, build and lead a high-performing interdisciplinary website team internally and through agencies and contractors

  • Manage website tech stack (CMS, optimization tools, analytics, etc.) and vendors

What we are looking for:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience managing global websites in a B2B/SaaS technology company.

  • 5 years of experience managing a high-performing web team and external agency partners and vendors.

  • Strong experience in cross-functional leadership, working with marketing, demand generation, and brand teams to influence strategic decisions

  • Solid understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, and conversion rate optimization, to drive lead generation and customer engagement.

  • Superior communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights and influence decision making

  • Expertise in web analytics (Google Analytics), A/B and multivariate testing tools, content management systems (Wordpress), technical and content SEO, web QA and domain/url management

  • Understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript, UX/UI design, digital design languages, digital ADA compliance, web optimization

  • Experience in localization for new markets & languages

Base Salary Range: $190,000 - $220,000

The base salary range represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position based at our San Francisco headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors, including individual proficiency, anticipated performance, and the location of the selected candidate. Our base salary is just one component of Ironclad’s competitive total rewards package, which also includes equity awards (a new hire grant, along with opportunities for additional awards throughout your tenure), competitive health and wellness benefits, and a commitment to career growth and development.
