We are a fast-growing bootstrapped SaaS company, enabling distributed teams to collaborate seamlessly on translations. 

We’re seeking an experienced **Technical Lead / Engineering Manager** to join our global team and drive technical excellence. 

Key Responsibilities: 

- Manage and mentor a team of 3 developers (2 backend, 1 frontend) + freelance developers and agencies 

- Lead technical direction, ensuring high-quality code and best practices 

- Conduct regular code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions 

- Hold 1:1 meetings to foster communication, provide feedback, and support team growth

- Manage the engineering backlog based on business requirements 

- Act as a bridge between management and the engineering team 

- Stay hands-on with coding to maintain technical expertise 

Required Qualifications: 

- Strong technical background in software development 

- Expertise in PHP (mandatory) and React Proven experience leading and mentoring tech teams 

- Excellent code review skills with a focus on constructive feedback 

- Deep understanding of software development best practices 

- Exceptional communication skills, both technical and non-technical 

- Fluency in English (mandatory) 

Preferred Qualifications: 

- Experience in SaaS product development 

- Familiarity with agile methodologies 

- Background in scaling applications and optimizing performance
