 What you’ll be doing…

The Consumer Integrated Marketing organization is responsible for amalgamating all integrated consumer marketing initiatives across Verizon Consumer Group, Marketing organizations and Field organizations. This role will sit under the Operations pillar which is responsible for the overarching Integrated Marketing/Go to Market processes, workflow, tools and planning.

This Associate Director will lead a team of passionate individuals within our tools portfolio, guiding them in driving enhancements, fostering user engagement, and maximizing the value derived from our in house/off the shelf tools (e.g. Adobe Workfront). This role is very crucial in the overall success of the Integrated Marketing team’s charter and requires working with the leadership across the Verizon Consumer Organization. This role requires strategic leadership, a data-driven approach to measuring and reporting on tool usage and impact to leadership. Bring your knowledge and expertise, coupled with your experience in product management and innovation to shape the future of our team and organizational success. 

  • Define and drive the overall vision, strategy, and roadmap for our suite of marketing and communication tools

  • Responsible for securing leadership alignment and driving the execution of the roadmap including timely delivery in collaboration with IT 

  • Design and advocate effective communications and  training programs to ensure users are equipped to leverage the full potential of our toolset

  • Establish and maintain comprehensive reporting mechanisms to track tool usage and trends

  • Manage the overall tools budget, ensuring responsible allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment
     

What we’re looking for…

You’ll need to have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science)

  • 7+ years of experience in a related field

  • 3+ years of experience as a people leader

  • Experience in product management or leading tool strategy, roadmap, implementation, and adoption initiatives

  • Experience managing budgets

Even better if you have:

  • Masters in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science)

  • Experience with Go To Market / Integrated Marketing/ Marketing Operations processes is a plus

  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint/Adobe Workfront is a plus

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with demonstrated experience interacting with personnel in senior leadership positions to present plans, challenges/issues and recommending solutions

  • Ability to and preference for collaboration

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
