Software Engineer, Android - Merpay

Remote (Minato City, Tokyo, Japan)

### **About Merpay**: 
Merpay is part of the Mercari Group, with a mission to create a smooth, trust-based society through engineering. The company is currently developing features for its financial services, aiming to upgrade social infrastructure using technology beyond just the financial sector.

### **Key Responsibilities**:
- Design and develop new features for the Merpay platform.
- Develop and integrate payment modules with Mercari's ecosystem.
- Design and implement APIs to communicate with backend microservices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to develop features.
- Improve CI/CD environments and automated testing processes.

### **Tech Stack**:

- Knowledge of Android trends and architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD and security programming.
- Contributions to OSS or public technical outputs.

- Flexible work style, including full remote work (except for certain positions). Office in Roppongi, Tokyo. Flextime system with no core hours.

- Monthly salary (includes fixed overtime). Determined based on skills, experience, and ability. Reviewed twice a year.
