Sipwise develops Software Solutions that are among the most widely used in the Telco community and contribute significantly to industry-standard open-source SIP software. We also provide years of experience in developing and operating large-scale internet service platforms.

Job Description

You are responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in the assigned market for Sipwise carrier-grade VoIP and NGN products and platforms. The focus lies on the acquisition of new and potential customers. You will identify customer requirements and present Sipwise solutions that meet those requirements by achieving maximum profitability and growth in line with company values (customer focus, strategic and long-term partnerships, etc.).

The ideal candidate has sales experience preferably with an IP networking-equipment company or telecommunications service provider. We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious sales personality with experience in a similar role and a proven track record.

YOUR TASKS:

  • Acquires new customers in the assigned market
  • Promotes and secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach
  • Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects
  • Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets
  • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin
  • Creates and conducts proposal presentations
  • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

Qualifications

 

  • Fluent in English, any other language is a plus
  • Commercial understanding
  • International sales experience with software-solutions is a plus
  • Willing to win new customers
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Selling and organisational skills and a strong technical understanding
  • Personal commitment, independent working attitude and willingness to travel internationally (approx. 1 week per quarter)

(Due to legal reasons, we advise you that the collective agreement stipulates the fixed salary starting at EUR 3,077 gross/month for this position). However, we are willing to pay significantly higher wages with years of experience and qualifications.
  • The additional paid variable component includes both existing customer contracts and new acquisitions.
