Simple Technology Solutions is seeking a seasoned Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have full authority to act on all matters related to daily operations under the specified task order. Serving as the primary point of contact between the Government and our dedicated Contractor personnel, your leadership will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of projects in accordance with Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

The Scrum Master at STS will:

  • Act as the central liaison between the Government and Contractor personnel to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide leadership and guidance in the application of Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies to manage projects efficiently.
  • Oversee and manage IT projects of similar size and scope, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Utilize and leverage commercial cloud infrastructure to enhance project efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and optimize project delivery processes.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile principles and practices, fostering a culture of transparency, inspection, and adaptation.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, removing impediments to the team's progress.
  • Facilitate Scrum events, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Mentor and coach team members, promoting a culture of self-organization and accountability.

Education and Experience:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration Science, Mathematics, or Engineering
  • US Citizenship
  • 7-9 years of relevant experience in project management, demonstrating a track record of successfully delivering AI/ML projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile principles and practices.
  • Ability to navigate complex project landscapes and deliver results.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience leading and collaborating with technical teams of diverse IT related skill sets
  • Must be able to work the hours of 8am-5pm Eastern Time regardless of your home location 

Required Certifications

  • Certified Scrum Master
