Job Summary

The Nurse Practitioner provides patients with clinical Psychotherapy and Psychopharmacology services through a primarily telehealth environment. Our practice leverages clinical experience and a diverse knowledge base to provide quality care and reliable service. This individual will utilize their expertise in Psychotherapy modalities and collaborate within a dynamic interdisciplinary team to foster continued learning and growth. We are open to hiring the following:

Option 1 - Two Part-Time (Less than 20 hours a week) clinicians (1 with a CT license and 1 with a MA license)

Option 2 -  One Full-Time (30+ hours a week) clinician, ideally with both MA and CT licensure already.

Anticipated Start Date: Early 2025. 

Job Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent quality clinical care consistently that exemplifies Rivia Mind’s culture, values, and guiding principles  
  • Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations and develop curated patient-centered treatment plans
  • Provide appropriate Psychotherapy practices that leverage various modalities (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, etc.) with proper Psychopharmacology prescribing practices  
  • Appropriately prescribe medication prescriptions & refills considering the best judgement of the patients' wellbeing  
  • Provide clinical support & counseling to diverse patient populations in a telehealth environment  
  • Service and maintain a weekly average standard of 50 patients (25 or 45 minutes sessions)
  • Coach patients on how to manage ongoing health conditions and provide therapy to help patients make positive behavior changes  
  • Counsel and provide crisis intervention for patients, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems  
  • Comply with clinical standards and adhere to timely and thorough session note documentation
  • Participation in Rivia Mind supervision groups, trainings, and attendance of department and organization meetings
  • Promote a friendly work culture that encourages a fun, collaborative, and co-learning environment that benefits individuals' well-being, self-improvement and potential
  • Perform other related roles and team function duties as assigned by department and group leaders

Qualifications

Required Education Level: Masters Degree or higher

Education Details: Masters in Nursing 

Licensure/Certification Requirements

  • Must have either an MA-Massachusetts or CT-Connecticut license and DEA in one of those states - both are a plus
  • Valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • PMHNP-BC: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certified
  • Active DEA License in good standing

Compensation & Employment Details

Pay Range: $100,000 - $145,000 (Hourly part-time rates will be proportionate)

Work Environment: Remote or Hybrid Option if located in the NYC Area

​​Work Schedule: 

We collaborate with each provider to determine a mutually beneficial and sustainable schedule. Our focus is to develop a supportive schedule that meets both the needs of our patients and the providers' preferences. 

Full-Time Position (Assuming 40 hours a week): 

  • Cumulative 40 hours a week - within our hours of operation of M-F: 8am to 8pm, and Saturday 9am to 5 pm
  • Include at least 4 or more hours within your schedule to be after 5pm on a Weekday, or to have hours on the weekend. 
  • On-call is also not required
  • If Hybrid, one day per week on-site is required and it would be the same day of the week each week (I.e. Every Monday)
  • Having a consistent weekly schedule is necessary, but start and end times per day can be different each day of the week as a set recurring schedule.
  •  For example, your schedule could be Monday: 9am to 5pm, Tuesday: 11am to 7pm, Wednesday: 8am to 6pm, Thursday: 10am to 6pm, Friday: 8am to 2pm. 

Your schedule will be determined with you prior to starting the role.
