Challenge
Our client is searching for a talented Senior Data Analyst / BI Engineer to join their dynamic team, focusing on delivering strategic insights and solutions within the finance sector.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of advanced SQL, data modeling, and Power BI development, with the ability to transform complex business requirements into actionable insights.
What you'll do
- Lead the design and implementation of data models, dashboards, and visualizations to meet evolving business needs within the finance sector.
- Translate complex business requirements into actionable insights, leveraging advanced Power BI development skills to drive strategic decision-making.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries to ensure seamless data integration and reliability for analysis and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand key objectives and deliver innovative BI solutions that exceed expectations.
- Champion a customer-first mindset, consistently delivering data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive bottom-line results.
In order to succeed in this position, you will need:
Mandatory skills
- Advanced/fluent English skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You are comfortable working 9-5 EST - we have a fair amount of flexibility for people to get their work done whenever works for them, but our core hours are Eastern Timezone.
- Advanced SQL including data modeling
- Looker experience including LookML and Liquid
