The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • BSc Civil or Structural from a recognised institution
  • Perform investigative works on-site for structural assessment, including Project Supervision and Management
  • Prepare clear and concise structural reports to satisfy all aspects of the structural assessments.
  • Undertake remedial analysis/designs.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical scopes of work and tender packages.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with building owners, property managers and stakeholders throughout the project to ensure all deliverables are met within agreed timeframes.
  • Ensure work meets the quality system and client requirements and complies with Australian standards, codes, and industry regulations.
  • Driven to accurately complete assigned tasks on time and to agreed-upon specifications and budget.
  • Proven knowledge of using software for structural analysis design and project management.
  • Australian Remedial or Forensic Engineering experience
  • A White Card and current New South Wales Drivers License
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with good interpersonal relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence speaking with clients.
