Who You Are
Prowess Consulting is looking for a Communications Specialist to support our client’s Global Employee and Executive Communications team. The successful candidate will have stellar writing and communications skills and be comfortable coordinating projects in a large, enterprise environment.  

This is a part-time role with approximately 20 hours of work per week that can be handled remotely from one of the states listed below. However, collaboration with teammates in the Pacific time zone. No third-party agencies, please.

To be considered for this role, you must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Washington.

The Role  
  • Identify suitable stories to amplify for client’s employee-only internal home page and in social media. 
  • Work with third-party data analysts to ensure datasets are updated as needed, and review data dashboards for quality control before publication. 
  • Help triage and manage stakeholder requests as needed to support employee and executive communications programs. 
  • Write and edit employee communications content including emails, headlines, and story descriptions 
  • Assist in producing and testing internal employee email communications. 
  • Help with production tasks as needed in SharePoint and other tools including our custom content management system. 
  • Crosstrain to assist with internal employee communications activities including newsletters, web microsites, employee advocacy, and executive social. 
  • Be a team player who’s able to be nimble and work collaboratively.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing internal communications for a large enterprise or comparable communications work. 
  • Background in journalism or experience identifying stories that are suitable for employee sharing or analyzing data to measure the success of client’s communications initiatives. 
  • Excellent writing and communication skills. 
  • Experience in Microsoft Office
  • applications and SharePoint with a desire to learn new tools. 
  • Must be able to work Pacific Time Zone hours. 
  • Experience with executive-level communications and social media is preferred, but not required. 
Additional Detail
  • The offered base pay range for this position is $26,000 to $27,400 per year, depending on geographic location and experience. Note that base pay ranges may vary for different work locations within the US, which allows for competitive pay and consistency in different states.
