- Works full-time on 4 fixed days per week, of which approx. 4 hours per week on site in the office
- As we are looking for someone preferred in Berlin, probably no travelling time required. Possibly 1-2 times to a workshop in Essen, but rather unlikely
General Project Description:
Context: Within the Digital Empowerment (DE) department, he/she will be part of the strategic UX team.
Overall objective: to increase UX maturity level from currently 2 to 3 till end of Q1 2025.
Environment: Corporate, but frequently changing environment, espec. with current change in operating model (towards product driven + experience driven).
Contents: Digital learning journeys developed by the Digital Empowerment Team (AI & Data, Automation, Personal Productivity, Product Development).
Project status: We have already conducted customer research and developed initial testing for the products.
Now it's time to further expand, organise, structure and professionalise the research practice (in a fast, pragmatic, hand-on approach).
PROFILE:
UX Research Expert / UX Testing (Products) - mid to senior level (senior level preferred)
- Works full-time on 4 fixed days per week
- Deep knowledge + practical experience in using various UX research methods end-to-end (qual. + quant.)
- Set up research plan and screener
- Facilitation of research activities
- Synthesis of research
- Co-develop UX testing approach, facilitate UX testing
- Set up customer research backlog (bring deep expertise & know-how in setting up a backlog for a complex organization to make the backlog usable very quickly)
Coordinate largely independently with stakeholders
- Language: German (fluent) + English (fluent)
- Location: preferred near Berlin, but search can be germany-wide
Must-haves:
- Deep knowledge + practical experience in using various UX research methods end-to-end (qual. + quant.)
- Be able to bring along and apply research methods and approaches directly
- Planning + facilitation of research activities
- Strong Synthesis skills (able to capture large amounts of data quickly, sensemaking)
- Self starter + able to structure him/herself, be proactive and takes responsibility in an agile environment
- Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with learning content, learning platforms
- Experience in a corporate environment
- Experience in an B2B environment
