Opposing Force Team Lead

The Opportunity:

As an exercise planner on our team, you’ll develop, implement, and measure the effectiveness of plans and procedures for clients. You’ll listen to client challenges and identify threats, gaps, or risks that need to be explored and provide a safe space for recommendations that will make lasting, real-world impact. You’ll have the chance to work cross-functionally with wargame analysts, operations researchers, and senior leadership on projects that are making an impact on critical missions.

You Have:  

  • 12+ years of experience as a U.S. Navy Intelligence Officer

  • 2+ years of experience planning exercises or experiments on an operational Navy or Joint staff including, adversary or opposing force (OPFOR) analysis or Red Cell experience

  • Experience evaluating and analyzing OPFOR weapons systems concepts or capabilities

  • Knowledge of adversary national security doctrine, military force composition, command and control, offensive and defensive capabilities, and operating history

  • Ability to produce and present senior executive level written and visual products and technical analysis

  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Service or Joint War College Graduate 

Nice If You Have:  

  • Knowledge of Joint, Multi-service, Combined or Allied and Navy doctrines across multiple warfighting domains

  • Knowledge of and participation in scenario development for wargames, exercises, and experiments

  • Knowledge of advanced intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities, space operations, and unmanned systems capabilities

  • Master's degree 

Clearance:  
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,600.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
