Assistant Manager, Membership Development

The pay range for this position is listed below. Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their unique set of knowledge, skills, education, and experience as well as internal equity.

Pay Range:

$98,768.00 - $148,152.00

What You'll Be Doing

Assists the department manager with the day-to-day Membership development activities within the educational community to meet organizational goals and objectives. These activities include planning and organizing promotional campaigns and special events. Coaches Membership Development Specialists to develop and nurture relationships within our field of Membership. Responsible for staff training and development.

This position requires to be available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, early mornings, evenings and weekends as necessary. Hours can vary depending on the event and work day. Position will be based out of the individuals home in the greater Sacramento area but will spend majority of the time in the field at meetings and events in the Greater Northern California counties including travel at times to Southern California.

  • Commitment includes ability to attend after hours and weekend functions as necessary.
  • Manage donation requests, event costs, mileage reimbursement for Membership development specialists while adhering to budgetary guidelines.
  • Conduct Membership development events as needed.
  • Manage accuracy and timeliness of Membership applications/payroll forms submitted by the Membership development specialists.
  • Ensure the Membership development specialists are maintaining accurate and current information about their schools and activities in the credit union’s relationship management platform.
  • Support Membership development specialists with establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with educational community officials in new/existing markets.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to meet organizational goals and objectives.
  • Overseeing Membership development specialist activity to ensure proper event coverage.

Additional Job Functions

 
  • Supervises teammembers directly, including selection, training, performance appraisal and work allocation. Responsible for scheduling staff.
  • Helps establish, communicate and achieve the credit union’s goals and standards, ensuring these are fully communicated to and understood by all department staff.
  • Identifies areas to streamline department and credit union operations.
  • Complies with all government regulatory policies, internal policies and procedures, audit standards, remains current on and informed of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and apprises staff.
  • May act in the capacity of the Manager in his or her absence.
 
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary and other employment related actions
