The Role

The Associate Director of US Market Insights will be responsible for conducting primary and secondary market research, as well as tracking competitive intelligence, to support the U.S. Hematology franchise in collaboration with various cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to play a pivotal role in the development and execution of market research and competitive monitoring initiatives supporting Epkinly in DLBCL and FL.

  • Oversees primary market research studies, overseeing US Competative Intelligence, including defining project objectives, designing studies, selecting and managing vendors, monitoring data collection, and analyzing and interpreting data.

  • Creates and delivers relevant, compelling presentations of market research insights to key stakeholders, including brand leadership and senior management.

  • Develops a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape, including market penetration, potential and future trends and provide strategic recommendations based on findings.

  • Attend key hematology conferences to provide US business perspectives on significant competitor updates

  • Collaborates with diverse teams, including Sales Analytics, Brand Marketing, Market Access, and alliance partners, to generate insights and recommendations that inform key strategic and tactical decisions.

Requirements

  • A BA/BS degree is required; a PhD, MBA, or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 7+ years in market research and/or strategic analysis and planning.

  • Extensive experience in conducting both quantitative and qualitative primary and secondary market research is required, with expertise in various market research techniques and appropriate data collection and analysis methods.

  • Strong task management skills, including planning, prioritization, setting objectives, meeting management, and execution of plans.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment with competing and shifting priorities.

  • Proven experience working with global Sales and Marketing organizations, as well as familiarity with key pharmaceutical data sources such as IMS, SHA, IntrinsiQ, and Ipsos Chart Audits.

  • Oncology market research experience is strongly preferred.

  • U.S. market and competitive intelligence experience is a plus.

  • Ability to travel 15%-25% of the time.

Where you will work: The role is hybrid – 3 days in our Princeton, NJ office.

For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:

$144,375.00---$240,625.00

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
