Financial Crime Analyst

Job title: Financial Crime Analyst

Location: Sao Paulo, Brazil

Overview of the role:

We have an exciting new role in our Financial Crime Team for someone who is organised, enthusiastic and enjoys a fast-paced team.

You’ll be reporting into the Financial Crime Team workflow Manager. You will be based in Sao Paulo and have access to a wider team based across different jurisdictions who all share a passion for preventing Money laundering on our sites

This is a varied role where no two days are the same! You’ll be resolving daily screening alerts, performing annual reviews for our high-risk players, drafting SARs and reporting them to the relevant authorities in a number of countries as well as collating court orders, law enforcement requests for information and dealing with business queries and consent requests.

Our new Sao Paulo workspace is the perfect place for team collaboration and individual growth. It is located in the Paulista neighbourhood with great transport links across the city and exciting working environment. This role will be part of our hybrid working environment with a blend of time in the office and from home.

What you’ll do:

Our team is an agile and busy, you will be exposed to a variety of tasks and licences. It’s a unique opportunity to be involved with all aspects of the Financial Crime lifecycle end to end. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Resolve the daily screening alerts

  • Work with the senior managers in the team to perform the annual high-risk reviews

  • Interact with our security and Key Account Management teams to resolve player queries

  • Investigate suspicious reports across all our licences

  • Submissions of suspicions across all our licences

  • Collate and respond to court orders and law enforcement requests for information
