This role is structured as Chiswick Park with a fully remote working pattern, meaning you are remote based, but your office location is Chiswick Park where you will need to travel into for key business meetings.
This role has a Home-Based working pattern.
As we try to reduce our carbon footprint and adapt our styles of working, pladis global’ s amazing head office in Chiswick Park offers great public transport links, agile working spaces, with both meeting and training rooms, as well as formal and informal workstations. The park also offers great restaurants and services for everything you need to suit your day.
Parking within Chiswick Park is very limited and booked on a first come first serve basis, however if you must drive there are also other options outside of the business park itself.
What will this role achieve?
- Manage Heron P&L across Sweet & Savoury Biscuits, Crisps & Snacks and Cake
- Full Ownership of the Cake P&L for B&M, TJ’s and Poundland
- Driving and supporting the two Bargains Account Managers with the day to day running of the Bargains stores, including reporting, promotional management and NPD
- Lead winning relationships with all Buyers and key contacts within Heron and Bargains Cake
- Support the wider Discounters strategy with working on long-term sustainable growth with leading functions
- Build an account plan that is aligned to the pladis sales and marketing agenda to hit Budget across your P&L areas, plus overall Bargains
- Manage and implement the plan using negotiation skills, creativity and energy to land initiatives
- Lead and set high standards for internal reporting and performance reviews
- Conduct store visits, reporting on pladis, competitor and adjacent categories to build and lead winning plans
Essential
- Proven experience in a customer facing role
- Drive and challenge the status quo internally and externally
- Leading and working autonomously and as part of a team towards a common goal
- Problem solving and solution orientated
- Eye for detail to hold the customers to account vs internal forecasting
Desirable
- Negotiation training & experience
- Creative flare to turn challenges into opportunities
- Branded experience (as opposed to Retailer Brand).
What will the interview process be?
- 1st stage interview – 45 minutes competency-based interview based on our company values and your experiences.
- 2nd stage interview – 60 minutes – a technical interview to understand your skill set/case study or presentation interview.
pladis does also use both Psychometric and Aptitude tests to support our processes so you may be asked to complete these as part of your process.
