About the Role

  • As an Account Manager for the South-East Asian markets, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our key clients across the region,
  • You will be the primary point of contact for our top merchants, responsible for managing account strategy, driving revenue growth, and providing tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of our clients in these markets,
  • The role requires fluency in English as well as Mandarin, along with a deep understanding of the local business cultures and market dynamics.


Your Role: 

  • Develop and execute strategies to maintain and grow relationships with top clients in the SEA Region
  • Utilize a consultative approach to identify growth opportunities and deliver Mercuryo’s solutions tailored to the specific needs of the accounts
  • Lead strategic account planning, revenue forecasting, and executive-level reporting for top merchants
  • Carry out strategy that can vary by customer, with a good understanding of the local business culture and client’s needs in the designated area
  • Partner with Product, Sales, Customer Success and Marketing to enhance customer experience and streamline solutions for the local market
  • Analyze current customer performance and define future business opportunities, develop customer-specific goals and strategyStay up-to-date with the regulatory landscape and market trends in the region, ensuring compliance and relevance in offerings
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for clients, helping them navigate the challenges and opportunities in the fintech and crypto spaces.


What We're Looking For: 

  • 5+ years of experience in payment services and account management, with a strong focus on handling large accounts in the Asia region.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin; additional knowledge of other Asian languages is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of the payments and cryptocurrency industries in Singapore, Korea, and China, along with their respective regulatory environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage and grow relationships with key merchants, fintechs, and other enterprise clients.
  • Commercially minded with strategic thinking skills to spot growth opportunities and optimize client performance.
  • Capable of working independently, with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Tech-savvy, with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience working with CRM systems or in-house software.
  • Enthusiastic, resourceful, and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

We're hybrid-remote so you should be comfortable picking up new software tools for document drafting, collaboration and communication. Most of your colleagues will not share an office with you on a day-to-day basis.
