JOB DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Sr. Accounting Specialist, the Accounts Receivable Associate will ensure accurate, complete, and timely invoicing. Additionally, this position will support the company's collection efforts to improve Days Sales Outstanding. This role will work closely with the Finance department and interface with vertical leaders to devise best practices.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Accounts Receivable Management: Handle all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoice creation, payment tracking, and resolving payment discrepancies.
  2. Invoice Processing: Assist in processing customer invoices and ensure timely and accurate billing.
  3. Financial Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Business Central
  4. Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations to verify the accuracy of accounts receivable and account balances by customers.
  5. Collections: Monitor outstanding accounts, follow up with customers on overdue payments, and negotiate payment plans when necessary.
  6. Data Entry: Input financial data into accounting software accurately and efficiently.
  7. Support Audits: Assist in preparing documentation and records for financial audits. Assist with internal AR audit.
  8. Ad Hoc Tasks: Collaborate with the finance team on special projects and additional tasks as required.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Accounting Experience: Previous experience in accounts receivable or finance roles is preferred.
  • ERP Proficiency: Experience using an ERP system is essential for this role.
  • Tech-savvy: Comfortable using various accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Self-motivated: Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
