Job Description

We’re recruiting for a Clinical Team Manager - Non Clinical to join our Group Protection Clinical team. With a competitive salary of up to £55,000 depending on experience. 

You will guide and manage a team of Vocational Clinical Specialists and Clinical Administration consultants, providing support to the motivated claims management service for our Group and Individual Protection customers by establishing and having oversight of the delivery of early intervention, treatment/therapy, rehabilitation and return to work plans.

What you'll be doing:

  • Ensure the teams objectives and efforts are aligned to overall departmental goals, service level agreements and targets, pro-actively using relevant management information to monitor and respond to changes in performance levels
  • Deliver a comprehensive clinical and administration service to the claims team to assist with the assessment and management of Income Protection, Critical Illness and Ill-Health Liability Insurance claims ensuring that our rehabilitation philosophy is adhered to
  • Be responsible for the recruitment of staff within the Clinical Team, ensuring that they have the appropriate qualifications and that the correct level of resource and competency of staff is maintained
  • Manage, motivate and develop employees at all levels, in a manner that is consistent with the Company’s policies and procedures including Partnership Agreement, to maximise the performance of the area
  • Act as a super user for the rehabilitation system and ensure that data and medical information is valid and current, compile statistics, examine data and identify trends relating to activity and volumes
