As an Associate Business Intelligence Analyst at PrizePicks, you will be an integral part of the Business Intelligence team, providing support in data analysis, reporting, and data visualization. Your role will involve assisting senior analysts and managers in gathering and interpreting data to generate actionable insights that drive data-informed decision-making and improve the overall performance of the PrizePicks platform.

As an associate, you will have opportunities to expand your skills and knowledge in business intelligence, data analysis, and the DFS industry under the guidance of experienced analysts and managers. This role serves as an excellent stepping stone for future growth and career advancement within the company's Business Intelligence team.

What you’ll do:
  • Data Gathering and Analysis: Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data related to user behavior, game performance, marketing campaigns, and financial metrics to identify trends and patterns.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Support the development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that communicate key performance metrics to various stakeholders.
  • Data Cleansing and Validation: Help ensure data accuracy and reliability by performing data validation, cleansing, and conducting regular data quality checks.
  • Market Research: Support market research efforts by monitoring industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to contribute to business strategies and growth opportunities.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Respond to ad-hoc data requests from different teams within the organization and assist in providing timely data-driven insights.
  • Performance Tracking: Assist in tracking and measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, user acquisition efforts, and product enhancements to evaluate their impact on user behavior and business outcomes.
  • Collaborative Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, marketing, and finance, to provide analytical support and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes
What you have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or similar roles, preferably through internships or academic projects.
  • Basic understanding of data manipulation and analysis using SQL and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or another data visualization tool.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new tools and techniques.
