About The Role:

The Associate, Project Manager will report to the Director, Enterprise Optimization and be responsible for supporting requirements gathering, design, and building to improve our tools and systems that allow VentureWell to recruit, select, manage, and report on the engagement and effectiveness of consultants and vendors, as part of a large federally funded public health innovation initiative. 

Responsibilities:

Project Management/Coordination (50% of time)

  • Assist in the development of project scope and priorities, involving all relevant stakeholders ensuring feasibility, and create a detailed project schedule to track progress
  • Support and create detailed project planning & documentation (defining project deliverables, success criteria, dependencies, change control, and risk management) including escalating risks & issues as required.
  • Coordinate internal resources for the execution of the projects
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Ensure that the project is delivered on time, within scope and budget
  • Use appropriate change request methods to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate metrics
  • Report and escalate to Director, Enterprise Optimization as needed
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation (i.e. project charter, scope statement, communication plan, DARCI, etc)

Stakeholder Engagement (30% of time)

  • Participate in and contribute to the team or unit initiatives to identify business process improvements to enhance effectiveness
  • Support the Project Manager with managing internal and external stakeholders 
  • Communicate and provide project updates with key stakeholders to ensure project outcomes are met.

Administrative Support (20% of time)

  • Support the facilitation of project governance compliance 
  • Document and create processes and procedures for the PMO
  • Maintain and optimize project management environments across multiple tools, ensuring efficient workflows and data integrity.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of proven working experience assisting with project management or project coordination required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and managing simultaneous streams of work
  • Project Management related certification or training preferred
  • Experience using Project Management tools 
  • Experience supporting diverse project teams and stakeholders (such as data governance, systems architecture, marketing and communications, client-facing, etc.)

    • a salary range of $65,000-$80,000 commensurate with experience and internal equity
    • 403 (b) with 200% match up to a maximum contribution from VentureWell of 10% when the employee puts it 5% (eligible after one year of service for the match)
