About the job

This position is needed to build world-class tools and solutions for our rapidly growing Go-To-Market teams.

The Sales Automation team are the drivers of the system, process, and data improvements that unlock new possibilities across the Sales, Marketing, and Strategy organizations. The Senior Manager of CRM Product will lead a team of Product Managers to define a roadmap for Twilio’s Salesforce CRM. They will partner with global stakeholders and leadership to set and coordinate a roadmap that operationalizes the highly-visible, cross-functional goals of the GTM organization. This includes from the Top of the Funnel, Opportunity Management, Quote to Cash, and Post-Sales / Infrastructure. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex, high-stakes problems, is naturally curious and always looking for ways to standardize and simplify while being inclusive of cultural or international differences.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Vision & strategy: Use a deep understanding of your stakeholders and corporate landscape (business goals, big problems to solve, current state) to create and maintain your product strategy. 
  • Define a roadmap: Create and deliver a rolling roadmap of GTM initiatives and features that solve for business and user needs. You will balance the long term needs of Salesforce platforms with evolving business needs.
  • Leadership: Lead a team of seasoned product managers to define and drive individual roadmaps that align with your strategic goals. Your team can also grow to include line managers.
  • Collaboration: Are a trusted and strong leader with a point of view to objectively drive decisions while maintaining healthy relationships. You solve problems before they result in delays or confusion. You are the voice of your customers and advocate for solutions that solve their needs
  • Communication: Promote your product and upcoming features so that your key stakeholders are up-to-date and excited for improvements
  • Technicals: Have a deep familiarity of the platform(s), applications, data model and analytic tools. Run reports to make data driven decisions and measure success/adoption.
  • Organization & Execution: Ensure initiatives are delivered holistically and on-time. 
  • Delivering: Enjoy getting MVPs out the door knowing that great user experience and lovable products take ongoing investment, refinement and polish.
  • Measure: Own the key success metrics of our Sales automations and build a roadmap of projects to improve

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Product or Program Management role within a technology company
  • Experienced people manager
  • Ability to define a product vision that excites users and stakeholders
  • Experience managing a product roadmap to improve GTM processes
  • Experience translating business requirements to technical teams
  • Ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders with varying levels of technical acumen
  • Knowledge of end-to-end sales operations
  • Strong presentation, communication, and writing skills. You can communicate sophisticated concepts, clearly and concisely
  • Experience with Salesforce.com

Desired:

  • Experience working with a global, GTM team, either in sales, marketing or operations
  • Experience partnering with third-party tool vendors and collaborating on feature implementation
  • Experience working with technical teams using Agile methodologies
  • Salesforce Administrator certification
  • Certified Product Manager

Location

  • This role will be remote but is not eligible to be hired in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA, or the surrounding areas.

Travel

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colorado or Washington D.C.: $149,440.00 - $186,800.00.
  • Based in New York, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $158,240.00 - $197,800.00.
  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
