Overview:

LivePerson is looking for a dynamic, hands-on Business Analyst who wants to apply their knowledge and skills to new problems in the Data Privacy and Artificial Intelligence (AI) area. Working with a team of both technical and non-technical members, you will help create new processes and procedures, and align current processes and procedures with both our internal and customer-facing processes. You will get to work with some of the top global brands and with a team of world class professionals. Most of all, your expertise, knowledge and experience will help define standards for continued expansion of our vision. This role will be cross-functional and customer facing, highly dynamic and reporting into LivePerson’s Legal team. 

You will: 

  • Assist all areas of LivePerson in developing, facilitating, and maintaining processes and governance frameworks aligning with privacy and AI standards globally
  • Collaborate and partner with the product and engineering teams as well as other business areas to promote a strong Data Privacy & AI Compliance culture and to empower everyone in the organization to find, understand, and govern data efficiently and effectively in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Provide support for our customers in documentation and assistance
  • Manage third party privacy topics including supporting third party due diligence and data privacy impact assessments.

You have:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience working for as Business Analyst or similar role in a Global Technology Company
  • Knowledge of new and existing laws, regulations, and best practices impacting data governance, data management, and artificial intelligence. Relevant certifications are highly preferred and expected
  • Experience in Data Privacy and AI compliance such as set-up and maintenance of a data processing inventory (ROPA)
  • Very good knowledge with data protection management and ticketing tools (e.g. Onetrust and ServiceNow)
  • A high level understanding of 3rd party certifications such as PCI-DSS / SOC2
  • Ability to communicate, at all levels, comfortably and with confidence - both technical and non-technical subjects and sometimes acting as a liaison/translator between parties
  • Experience working through complex problems, and creating easy-to-follow solutions
  • Capacity to motivate others and lead change by taking initiative where appropriate
  • Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects
  • Passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change
  • Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach
  • Ability to work remotely or in a team setting as needed (we are a remote first organization; but we also value time together)
