Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Internal and external communications: Coordinate and develop content to enable the flow of communications between internal and external teams, including websites, intranet, memos, newsletters and other messaging.
  • Create communications for the company while ensuring that messaging is consistent, on brand and integrated with the company's priorities including employee engagement.
  • Communications support and engagement with new acquisition integrations.
  • Assist with identification of team members to present/speak/author while working closely with other marketing team members for implementation of such activities.
  • Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders to execute communication goals and objectives on an annual basis.
  • Monitor media coverage, evaluating its impact on company reputation including relevant career sites like Glassdoor, etc.
  • Assist with development and implementation of employee education working closely with other team members in marketing and human resources.

Corporate Communications Specialist Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years in corporate communications or a related role.
  • Experience working with an Environmental/Manufacturing/Engineering type of organization preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work with multiple team members including technical/engineering staff.
