DevOps Engineer - Remote - Full-time Contract - Manila

• We are looking for a full-time DevOps Engineer to work for an Australian company. Certification/experience in AWS is required.

Shift Times

• Working from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday to Friday Filipino time. 
• Required to work during Australian holidays, PH holidays will be off.

• Work from Home.
• Must be based in Manila, ideally within the Makati area. 
• Your workstation needs to be safe and secure at home with stable and reliable internet, not less than 25 Mbps.

We are seeking a full-time DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for deploying, automating, maintaining, and managing our cloud-based applications. You will work closely with software engineers, IT operations, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient deployment pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage continuous integration and deployment processes for multiple projects.
• Monitor and maintain multiple environments, ensuring uptime and performance targets are met.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and optimize infrastructure and application performance.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using configuration management tools.
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained across all systems.
• Document processes and procedures related to infrastructure and deployments.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Ideally, you have the following qualifications: 
 

• At least 3 years of experience in a DevOps role managing the AWS platform. 
• Possess AWS certification.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and Actions.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance across systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
