OpenLoop is seeking a Clinical Quality Manager to join our team Full Time!  We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Quality Manager to lead our quality improvement efforts and ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety. About the Position:

At OpenLoop, we are passionate about delivering high-quality, safe, and effective virtual care to our patients. As the Clinical Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our clinical quality initiatives across our telemedicine platform. Reporting directly to our Medical Director, you will collaborate closely with diverse teams, including Operations, Clinical, Compliance, Implementation, and Client Success to establish a robust clinical quality framework. You will oversee quality monitoring programs, conduct comprehensive chart reviews, and implement best practices to elevate our clinical workflows. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring our patients receive the best care possible. 


Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of clinical quality monitoring programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

  • Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to establish and refine quality metrics and KPIs for telemedicine services.

  • Conduct regular chart reviews and performance audits to assess the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and actionable solutions.

  • Develop and implement training programs for clinical staff focused on documentation, quality standards, and evidence-based practices.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in clinical quality, providing guidance and support to various departments within the organization.

  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on clinical quality initiatives and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Foster a culture of quality improvement by encouraging team participation in initiatives aimed at enhancing patient safety and care quality.

  • Embrace flexibility and adaptability to keep pace with the rapidly evolving telemedicine landscape, integrating new approaches as needed.



Requirements
  • Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) advanced nursing degree.

  • Board certification in relevant specialties (Family Nurse Practitioner or adult gerontology) is required.

  • PREFERRED: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification 

  • REQUIRED: 2-3 years of experience in healthcare quality management or clinical operations, ideally within a telemedicine or digital health environment.

  • REQUIRED: Previous experience in telemedicine, with familiarity in telehealth systems and regulations

  • REQUIRED:  Proficiency across a tech stack that includes Google Suite, Slack, Zoho Analytics, and multiple EHR systems.

  • Strong understanding of evidence-based clinical practices to effectively develop quality improvement initiatives..

  • Experience conducting clinical audits and chart reviews, with the ability to identify gaps in care and implement corrective actions.

  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, capable of influencing clinical and non-clinical stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams.

  • Proficiency in building and analyzing data and metrics to drive clinical performance improvements and develop actionable strategies.

  • Experience training and mentoring staff on clinical quality standards and best practices.

Innovative mindset, willing to explore new methods and technologies to enhance patient care quality and operational efficiency.

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects

  • Experience in a healthcare startup environment is a plus.
