YOUR MISSION

Is Data andÂ AI your home? Then your new challenge is as follows:

Work together in an agile team on exciting Data Engineering and Machine Learning projects.
Develop ETL pipelines, BI solutions, and AI microservices in the AWS Cloud.
You will shape challenging Data Science projects with the departments at WorkerHero and create innovative solutions using Machine Learning and Big Data technologies.
In close collaboration with the Product Team, you will be directly responsible for the success of the WorkerHero platform by developing innovative AI features.

YOUR SUPERPOWERS

Is Data and AI also in your DNA? Then youÂ should bring the following:

A completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a comparable field of study with a strong quantitative focus.
At least 2-3 years of professional experience in the field of Data Engineering and Data Science.
Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills, and a strong understanding of exploratory data analysis (i.e., asking the right questions of the data).
Expertise in Python (including relevant libraries).
Cloud experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, and Sagemaker.
Big Data experience (PySpark and SQL).

It is alsoÂ advantageous if you bring the following:

Data Science experience in the field of Marketing / Recommender Systems.
Experience with container technologies and orchestration frameworks (e.g., Docker, Airflow).
Basic understanding of Lakehouse architecture, including open table formats.
Continuous Integration / Delivery, e.g., with Bitbucket Pipelines or GitHub Actions.
Knowledge in the deployment (i.e., production) of scalable and robust applications.
